postcards from the south east. . .

I've been welcomed to Asheville, NC by sunny winter days, a rich cultural artistic scene, and a back yard of National Forest.  What a grateful passage this is.  My days have been filled with hiking, yoga, dance, and good friends who pitter-patter over my head.  Here are some shots from my new borough.
Art seems to be in every nook and cranny around here, welcoming you to town.
Mosaics, also seem to sneak up on you.

I was particularly fond of this one.

Luna, loving the Pisgah Natl. Forest in our backyard.
I think these are eastern white pines, which are abundant here. I'm looking forward to the upcoming seasons, there seem to be lots of dormant ornamental trees just waiting for spring!

Old mountains here, the earth smells rather different too.
My board of happy images, re-instated here in NC. This is what I look at while writing.

More local color. . . with more to come soon.
