pictures of pictures, and then some.

I've found it rather difficult to be a winter blogger.  Winter lulls aside,  this blog is dedicated to a somewhat random collection of images that just make me sort of happy.
I took a photo of this picture, I believe my grandmother captured it while she was in Egypt.  I find it so delightful.  It seems to capture that spontaneous joy and playful energy that we all have from time to time.  Although I'd be pressed to remember the last time I catapulted myself into a summersault.
Well, I certainly did many a sommersault when I was this age, five.
 NEWT!

Delightful fungi, captured while with fun-gals in California.

Happy and cookie fueled after hours of chasing the Buoy Monster.
Luna, in her wild stride,  Cascade Cave, OR.
One of my favorite trees, the Sycamore.  It's pale bark seems a bit like a ghost in the forests of Missouri.
I don't know which I love the most in this image, my Dad's pensive dog holding look, or my Grandmother's awesome style? circa 1950's.

The Pacific Ocean. What a beauty!
