march preambles from the southeast . . .

Spring is slowly coming about here in the east.  In my sphere it's brought a new baby to my dear friends, and a chance to reconnect with my own familial roots in New York City.   This is sort of a hodgepodge of images from a restless, and flu ridden vernal shutterbug.
Lake Powhatan, Pisgah Forest
Magical Jude Stillwater.
Asheville, river bottom art.
Approaching the wilds of NYC.
My cousin, fearlessly approaching the Brooklyn Sasquatch.
View from the High Line.

View from Staten Island ferry.

Bushwick street art.
Lucifer: a feline that knows how to get what he wants! Seriously!

Bent Creek, snag art.

We Sterrett's hail from Manhattan's upper west side, who knew?  We now live all over the U.S., if it weren't for the beacon of this purple hat, pictured here, most of us would have been lost in the hustle of the city.
